The Texas Blues Ride is GM Designs’ tribute to the deep, soulful blues tradition of Austin and beyond. Inspired by legendary Texas blues, this 22" ride delivers the perfect balance of warmth, smokiness, and articulation, blending seamlessly into any groove-driven setting. Its rich, cutting bell stays musical and controlled, while the buttery response produces lush, sizzling overtones.

We didn’t guess what “the blues” should sound like — we built it with the blues.

We brought in Jason Corbiere (drummer for Jimmie Vaughan) to help design this ride from the ground up. He took early versions on the road, we listened, adjusted, and fine-tuned every detail until the exact cymbal came back. The result is the Texas Blues Ride — not just a sound, but a feeling.
