Introducing The Voyager

 In 1977, the launch of the Voyager spacecraft marked the beginning of an extraordinary journey that carried a truly remarkable "time capsule" on board. This capsule took the form of a phonograph record, a 12-inch gold-plated copper disk containing carefully selected sounds and images that aimed to capture the incredible diversity of life and culture on Earth.

 This awe-inspiring concept served as the inspiration behind the creation of a universal cymbal that embodies the same essence: a cymbal capable of seamlessly blending with any musical style from around the globe.  To achieve this, we started with a weight that offers remarkable versatility. A weight that allows for crashing, riding, or swells, whether played with a stick, rod, or brush.   

 A raw bell ensures sharpness and clarity, while a semi-lathed bottom limits unwanted wash. Extra hammering adds richness to its tonal character. The result is a cymbal with warm stick and undertones, combining a shimmering ride with crash capability!  And of course, a range of versatile sizes, available in 20", 21.5", and 23", ensures there is a perfect fit for every player.  

 As a final touch, we felt compelled to incorporate the iconic graphics from the Gold Record itself onto this cymbal.
